essential workers

hi today we had to write a letter to the essential workers and saying thank you the way i did it was paper. and it was taking me long to finish it but we said thank you and appreciate it from there hard work.

feelings in Maori

 today at 10:55 we went to a google meet it started when we break of into our work shop i was here in the wakatahi and miss bound show us and told us to do Maori face feelings on google sides and read out the emotes names but just saying it in Maori    

i was putting the audio by just record me saying the Maori words and taking my face and my screen away and it was taking for an hour . and the hard part was doing audio but just record me saying the emotes names in Maori.                                  here is my slides

Wesley intermediate trip

On Tuesday year 6 students from Wesley primary school decided to visit Wesley intermediate to experience what it was like. when we arrive at the site we got introduced to the principal. the principal show us the project of students that created the birdhouse made with wood.  We got to view some of the instruments which were the guitar, piano and the drums. we later got to sit down in the school gym with some of the may road school students. All the students were assigned into different  color groups and different activities. 

during our first activity which was science we got to do an experiment about the rocket involving with tea bag and paper. first we got a the paper and made it like a rectangle shape. then we put the tea bag on top the paper then we lite up on fire from the tea bag string and it went up like it was gravity floating then slowly going down with little pieces. 

our next activity was PE we were learning how to play basketball. our first lesson was bounce the ball with one hand. then we did it with 2 hand and it was quite challenging. next lesson was involving tricks by running through the cones and doing some tricks passing the ball and running back to the line. after that we did a match it was us from Wesley primary school vs May Road School. and we won the game. later we had lunch and some play time.

our final activity was robotics first lesson was to do with scratch. from scratch we did this funny meme by doing my face cloning running to 3 corners . then our final lesson was a robotic ball. the ball was moving it by just controlling it with the Chromebook and it was quite hard controlling by using with a Chromebook.

then we went back to the gym going back home and said bye to the students teachers and the principal be for we left.

 today during on lockdown we decided that we did a rocket animantion 

science fair experiment

On Friday we decided to do a science fair experiment.Our experiment was making stalactites and stalagmites. First we had to get into groups, my group was Kylie, SJ, Sione and Malia. Next we got our ingredients. We got food colouring, hot water, yarn, baking soda, salt and a tray. Some difficult stuff was doing the hypothesis and the research. Then we saw that the baking soda worked because the crystals were growing for the baking soda. I felt so excited and it went really well.
